As a rider with a background in historical research, Porsche became curious about other women who blazed a trail in motorsports and how they evolved in the new millenium. Captivated by Bessie Stringfield, who paved the way for all women who ride, race or stunt, Porsche became the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Black Girls Ride Magazine (BGR) on January 1, 2011. BGR is an inclusive celebration of all women who live to ride. We profile professional racers, riders and female MC clubs. We celebrate the triumphs and accomplishments of these women, while shining a light on their sisterhood. BGR is your source for new product launches & reviews, women’s rider fashion, and events across the nation, including Running The LAW Ladies Annual Weekend, and the Beautiful Bikers Celebration. As we celebrate 5 years, we now have readers all over the world. We invite you to join the Black Girls Ride Movement!
Porsche is often chosen to ride in commercials, videos, and TV appearances. She was most recently tapped to ride along with the So Cal Burn Riders for The Doctors holiday episode. She has also created a database of women who ride, and is often asked to provide casting for various film and TV projects.
