I love how down to earth Marsha Ambrosius is…she’s got one of the most luscious voices on the planet, she’s a AMAZING songwriter, yet she feels just like the homegirl from up the block. Her new album keeps getting pushed back, so for now, we’ll have to make due with the singles. I’ll let her introduce her newest single…Marsha Says,
” 2nd Single “Far Away”
I wanted Michael Jackson on this song with me, I even have it listed in my iTunes featuring Michael Jackson. Can’t bring myself to delete it. Every time I hear this song, I hear him
thanks for the inspiration always MJ

Bonus: Sextape Vol 2

The first time I saw Nacho Pen perform on stage at Kevin Black’s “U Can Fly” showcase, I knew she was destined for greatness. She has the “it factor”, that on characteristic that sets her high above her peers. Her music is soon to be the new standard of hip hop. Much like Weezy, she’s not from here. She’s better suited among the stars, in another galaxy. Because she not a “badonkadonk” female rapper, she’ll be compared to the female lyricist that came before her. I say, refocus your lens. Don’t compare her to icons, recognize her iconic potential. She’s got the goods…the complete package. But don’t take my word for it…take a listen for yourself…

Found this on 2DopeBoyz…I’m a huge Jay-Z fan…his ability to stay relevant and 3 steps ahead of the competition should be studied in Music Business classes nationwide. Here’s a mixtape with all of the songs he references in his new book…in other words, its full of classics. Peep the playlist, then get you a piece!
