Aside from the dopeness of the obvious Huxtable reference, Gordon Gartrell Radio is the consummate radio show of my generation. I just hit 30+, so I must say, I’ve had my fill of bombs being dropped on air, screaming DJs, stanky leg type dances, and the all around foolishness that is Hip Hop Radio in LA. Phonte of Little Brother states the facts and DJ Brainchild spins the tracks. I just recently discovered this show, and I must say…Phonte needs to be a stand up comic. He is a certified fool. DJ Brainchild does a great job of finding eclectic hip hop tracks, r&b throwbacks and house music to make you groove. Between Phonte’s TV references (I swear, it seems like he was in my head!) and Brainchild’s soundtrack, this is THE funniest podcast series on the internets. Take a listen here.
